The process in engaging with Baillie

The first step to experiencing the very best in home automation from our Design Team of experienced and certified home automation designers is to “Request A Consultation”. This will give our team an initial insight as to what you want to achieve from your home.

Once we receive this information, we will schedule a complimentary 2-hour private consultation at our Home Automation Experience Centre located in the Dromana industrial habitat where we will walk you through our interactive showroom to thoroughly discuss and understand your requirements that you want to achieve from your home to best fit your lifestyle. After this consultation and the solutions we have proposed for your project we will then provide an estimated project budget.

The Design Service is a fixed fee and allows for us to provide a fully integrated home automation solution, complete with design, engineering and documentation so that we take complete ownership of the installation using equipment brands that are trusted and proven for there reliability, stability and ease of use for the client.

Depending on the extent of the design our Design Team will put in over 40-80 hours and you will receive your personalised Home Automation Proposal within a 4-6 weeks. This timeframe allows our Design Team to collaborate with key partners including architects, interior & landscape designers, builders and other contractors.

What you will receive is a comprehensive and detailed scope of works including:

• A functional brief.

• Product details, specifications and documentation.

• Marked-up architectural floor plans and reflected ceiling plans showing locations of equipment such as speakers, touch screens, cctv cameras, security equipment, intercom, wireless access points as well as notations for 3rd party contractors such as electricians, landscapers etc.

• Wiring diagrams and schematics.

• Fixed cost quotation incorporating all hardware and associated project labour.

• A follow-up meeting to discuss your personalised home automation proposal.

• 2 x revisions of your personalised home automation proposal.
